As he looked off in the distance, he watched as the redheaded swimmer dove under but there was something strange. He swore he saw a tail. He shock his head deciding that his eyes were either playing tricks on him or there must be a dolphin or something right by where the swimmer had been. He brought his legs up onto his board and hugged them as he laid his head on his knees.
Feeling a little lonely since spending so much time on his own lately. Between living alone because his parents were abroad a lot to coming to the beach alone. He sighed, maybe he should’ve yelled out to that redhead, it was better than being lonely.
Suddenly the hair on the back of his neck raised, he had that feeling like he was being watched. He looked around again and ended up spotting the same redhead. He was closer and he looked almost like he was curious for some reason. He was still a good distance away and Haru had half a mind to speak to him. Instead he just waved at the swimmer. The raven was usually a boy of few words anyway. That is unless he had something to say or if he was really close to someone.
– When he earned a wave from the other one, he blinked, rising a bit above the surface again before one of his hands raised too, waving back. He then frowned a bit before he moved over to the other, feeling the air hit the tip of his fin while he did so. What had made him go closer? Well, he was curious, that was one thing, and he was actually worried. He wasn’t the most dangerous of the sea creatures, but out here there could be any other kinds of sharks, and he didn’t really want to see his first human be killed by one.
He didn’t have much to say though, he was half shark himself, and the bloodlust they felt was stuck with his kind, so hopefully he would be able to stay calm. Maybe if he tried to keep his tail hidden most of the time, the human would talk to him without being freaked out or scared.
As Rin was finally there, he stared up at the other one, this time seeing him clearly. “Why are you out here?” he asked. It was the first thing that came to his mind. Underneath the surface, his tail was moving from side to side, keeping him floating. “It’s dangerous.” And it was. Rin just wanted to make sure this human didn’t end up in any accidents, because .. well, just because. He cared about these creatures, even if he had just seen one for the first time. His eyes trailed to the legs of the male, blinking. Legs.. Finally he could see them up close.
